After being awarded her Bachelor Degree in Business Management (finance major) Helen Heise initially gained a broad range of business experience in finance, marketing and sales.
Having completed her MA in Human Resource Management, Helen built a successful career in human resource management (at Xerox UK, Granada, Associated Newspapers Ltd and GEHE Pharma GmbH, among others). During this time she gained experience in all of the HR areas, before finally specialising in training and development. After a career break following the birth of her daughter Helen held a managerial position in the catering industry. This was followed by several years of work as a business English language trainer based in Berlin.
Today, Helen is an experienced language trainer with a wide range of specialist know-how, teaching managerial and other participants from finance/accounting, purchasing, law, IT and related areas for HolderMorrin UG. These courses are in the form of weekly lessons, monthly and quarterly workshops, as well as summer academies. Helen is equally at home with management groups, specialist business groups and general English groups. She has also coached one-to-one sessions for members of the senior management.
Thanks to her broad experience and knowledge of the corporate world, Helen is very familiar with business terminology and how it is used in real situations. This is matched by her understanding of how corporations function and their positioning and development internally and externally.
